Gamut Theatre brings its regionally recognized Gamut Theatre Summer Academy (GTSA) to the Ned Smith Center for Shakespeare in the Woods 2024! Work with students like you, who share a love of theatre and want to enhance their skills to become better actors by taking daily classes in acting, voice, dance, writing, stage combat, and improvisation. GTSA teaching staff work professionally in their field and enrich the learning experience by being successful working artists. Students rehearse each day for an end of week performance of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth that will take place outdoors at the DeSoto Amphitheatre on Friday, August 2 at 6:30 PM.  Please note that there is a performance rain date of Sunday, August 3 at 6:30 PM.

Note:  Closed-toed, water proof shoes, dressing in layers, a hat, extra water, sun-screen, and bug spray are highly recommended. Full details and supply lists will be communicated the week before camp.

Registration for Members opens up on March 1st. Please call the Center to register your child.

Registration for Non-Members opens up on March 8th.
