PRE-ORDER Ferry Boat Print

Description

PRE-ORDER: An original oil painting by Ned (1957). While one of Ned's most famous pieces depicts the Millersburg Ferry crossing the river, this work offers a different point of view, with the ferry returning to port. While the origins of this piece are not confirmed, it is believed to have been created for Harold Lenker, a good friend of Ned’s and of the Center. The small red car on the ferry boat is believed to be Harold’s, with Ned’s personal interpretation of his hometown in the background. The Center procured this piece from a gentleman who purchased the painting at the Lenker estate sale in the early 2000s.

This print is available for pre-order, with a limited run of 300. The pre-order period will run until early May, and pickup or shipping of the print can be expected by the beginning of July.
